Penny For My Thoughts.
Why is it so hard to let go of the past? I'm realizing as I clean my room that I'm holding onto things that I shouldn't be. Most of these things are tokens of a recent relationship gone bad. Ticket stubs, notes, receipts. Little things that remind me of a time when I thought I had it all. They're full of sentimental value to me but what exactly do I accomplish or benefit from keeping them? The memories are enough to last me a lifetime. So I'm clearing out space in my room and my heart. Here's to a new me.
