Another year older. But honestly, I dont understand the point of having a grand and lavish celebration. A birthday is just another 365 days you've been able to survive. I already know that the people in my life love and appreciate me so why obligate them to treat me any differently. And as for the many facebook birthday wishes, how about I wish you didnt. True friends dont contact you one day out of the year to acknowledge you. True friends have your birthday planned out months in advance. Time and distance are of no value to true friends. So to my TRUE friends, I'll see you this weekend.
